Advice when starting a new business

Postby Paulztag » Thu Jan 19, 2012 1:56 pm

Hi,

Myself and another person are currently looking at starting an online business and I'm looking for some advice on what we need to do.

I know we will need to set up a business bank account as we will be selling online which means we also need a merchant account.

What is the best set-up for 2 people going into business like this with regard to setting up a business? (Register a business name and partnership?)
For taking profits out of the business what will we have to do this? Will we have to set up a wages system for the business and put ourself as employees? We will be the only 2 people in the business so can we just take the profits out and and declare them to the revenue ourselves or should this be done through the business?

Any help on this questions or any other advice in general would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul

You need to get a good web developer who is also good in SEO. This can help you in a big way.

Starting a business online is much easier than a offline business. You just need to have a website through which you can provide your services, take order, payments and everything. You just need to do marketing for your website and business.

Starting a new business is really tough task, but if you properly execute your business plan then it’s not a big deal to set up a new business. First you need a good website for online business that will allow customers to take interest in your business. Fast and efficient transaction is the key factor for batter businesses. So keep this in mind. Have patience, definitely things will be in your favor.

First of all, you need to do proper planning before going into the business. Business planning consists of several things like choosing an industry for business, whether start a new business or buy an existing business, registration of business name and partnership in company and profits, proper market for business, suitable area for establishing the company and several other factors you need to consider before starting a business.
