Hi,
I have an idea for a web based venture, but I don't have any experience setting up a new business. Is there any programs out there that help somebody in a position like this? Thanks

Re: Entrepreneurship Programs
Hi There,
To the best of my knowledge the IIA (Irish Internet Association) run pretty relevant courses in this area. I have not been to one with them yet but have been meaning to go. I get the impression that their finger is more on the pulse in this fast moving area (what google likes today might not be what they like tomorrow..). If you become a member the course costs are lower. Are u looking for help in starting a web based biz or a business in general??

Re: Entrepreneurship Programs
I have been looking into this recently as I was hoping in Ireland there would be some incubator programs similar to 'Tech Stars' and 'Y Combinator' in the US.
I have found some but few who deal in the tech space as the above do. Some programs I have found in Ireland are below. If anyone can add to the list it would be great to get a comprehensive list together:
HBAN- http://www.hban.org/index.php/entrepreneurs/
GreenHouse - http://greenhouselimerick.com/
MediaCube - http://www.mediacube.ie/
iGap - http://www.enterprise-ireland.com/en/Fu ... I-GAP.html

Re: Entrepreneurship Programs
Hi Amy,
This is absolutely great. Good to see an incubator program like this in Ireland.
Can you give any more insight into exactly the selection criteria used. The information on the website is very light touch?
